Partnership groups actions and their impact on the sustainable development of rural areas

Summary/Abstract: Partnership Groups are a three-sector partnership between local government units, non-governmental organizations and local businesses. The article presents the action principles of Partnership Groups, funding sources of Partnership Group “Heather Land”, projects carried out by partners of this group, as well as the impact of the effects and outcomes on the sustainable development of rural areas. It is concluded that owing to partnership evaluation local issues, attitudes and institutions become global values.
