Summary/Abstract: This article is an attempt to characterize the language used by prisoners of KL Auschwitz. The author gives a very general overview of the subject matter (an attempt to present typology) and stylistic features. Moreover, he describes manifold characteristic nominative techniques, such as borrowings from other languages, structural neologisms, neo-semantic items, word, and phrase calques, language hybrids. The article presents the conclusions reached on basis of the analysis of the camp vocabulary as the manner of speaking about the campexistence. The author suggests to undertake further, specific scientific studies of the problem.
