Summary/Abstract: This contribution graphically presents the results of a mini-research in the visal representation of women in the daily newspapers in Serbia. Photographs are treated as media texts and analyzed content wise; therefore, the presented quantifications refer to their informative and not their aesthetic value. According to the results of this research, the quality and the quantity of the visual representation of women could be a fairly reliable indication of the daily newspapers’ profile.
