György Enyedi, the Regionalist

Summary/Abstract: Characterization of György Enyedi's scientific carreer by branch of science is not an easy task for the writers. In commemorations a long list of scientific branches is mentioned. For many of us Enyedi is mainly a regionalist, a prominent person of laying basis to rural science and its institutionalization within the country, reaching recognition internationally and at home. The present paper wishes to bring into limelight all those moments, which characterize his scientific carreer on regionality.
