Historically delayed industrialization and urbanization. The broken socio-ecological stability of the whole Slovak social space. Regional polarization and marginalization. The social transformation has the decisive influence on the spatial development in this period. It is a period of the spatial trends crystallization and finding their direction. The social-spatial development scenarios till 2005: - the scenario of the present urbanizations trends prolongation in the new conditions and second - the equal spatial development with the country spaces renaissance plan.
