Summary/Abstract: After the fall of the Romanian communist regime in December 1989 and, consequently, the opening of the borders for the citizens, a period of economical baffling followed. After fifty years of communist dictatorship, everyone was now allowed to set his/her own business. So many incidental entrepreneurs mushroomed overnight and some even flourished.
