Summary/Abstract: The main scientific objective of this paper is to explain the important sociocultural factors that are related to the manifestation of the dynamics, structure and etiology of juvenile criminality in Serbian society. Another objective of the scientific description of the general characteristics of juvenile criminality. Hypothetical starting point of expressing the view that the social context of the current generation of youth growing up represented a risky milieu for the development of juvenile criminality. Official figures show that nearly 60% of juvenile crime punished or convicted of committing criminal acts with elements of violence. Violence of young people is a "new" and a key destination of juvenile criminality in the last 20 years in Serbia. Sociocultural context of juvenile criminality can be understood taking into account the four complex global dimension. These are social exclusion, youth exposure to structural and cultural violence, frustration in the realization of family functions and social roles, and fear of loss of life chances.
