Profitability and liquidity of enterprises in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The analysis of the level of turnover profitability, liquidity and the costs of enter¬prises in respect to size of the employment is presented. Also the correlation between liquidi¬ty and turnover profitability (or total costs per one employee) is assessed. Small enterprises are characterized by the highest level of gross turnover profitability ratio and liquidity ratio of the second degree. The correlation between 1) turnover profitability and quick liquidity, 2) turnover profitability and total costs per one employee could be assessed as significant in the group of 1) small enterprises, 2) medium-sized enterprises.
