Summary/Abstract: For Mihai Maniutiu, theatre is “a celebration lived in the real, not the imaginary”, it is based on “erotic tension between those who create it". The actor can become – the director says – a “therapist” for the spectator, trough the “unpredictable energies, multiple possibilities for sublimation” implied by an erotic relationship. “Richard III”, masterpiece of the Odeon Theatre, with Marcel Iures, offers an original exegesis on the Shakespearean universe, illustrating the director's poetic supported by performances and books.
