Summary/Abstract: In a continuous changing society, the celebration of romanian saints represent the undoubted testimony of bimillenary romanian orthodoxy, but the pragmatic example of how Christians today need to understand and to receive the virtue of holiness too. Without saints, romanian nation would be poor, because the romanian saints with their example of life are those who speak about the romanian orthodoxy Church and romanian traditions all over in history, but they confessing the Christ, the Savior of the world, too. Today, the message of the Church should not be reduced to a theorization of the doctrine of faith, but should be rooted and fixed in saint’s life example. Currently, the dynamism enjoyed the cult of romanian saints represent, more than ever, that the christians need a practical examples of authentic orthodox life and tangible evidence of holines.
