Summary/Abstract: Astral Conjunctions in Baroque Medal Study. Fascination exerted by astrology and astronomy, the attention for astral conjunctions and their correlation with major events, the faith in the existence of good omen factors and unfortunate circumstances are also a reality for the Baroque, period which excelled in identifying conjunctures responsible for the development of daily events. This preoccupation generated certain symbolic representations with direct reference to astrology and astronomy in art, with a branch well represented also in medal work, in the form of astral maps, simple lucky stars or complicated planetary conjunctures.
