Summary/Abstract: This paper analyzes and classifies, from the lexical-semantic point of view, the micro-toponyms collected in many villages of Skopje’s Karshiaka region. The main focus of the paper is the micro-toponyms with Turkish language origin. The micro-toponyms with Albanian origin and the numerous micro-toponyms with other language origin, such as Turkish, Slavic languages, Greek, Romanian etc. have been noticed. The focus of analysis is on the modalities of the creation of the micro-toponyms within this region, particularly the ones that are being used by the Albanians and other nationalities from this region, regardless whether the villages are inhabited only by Albanians or are mixed.
