The personal finances – a personal welfare management tool

Summary/Abstract: Trends in the global economy and the development of national communities in the last decades indicate that, apart from the central governments and commercial enterprises, the households, as a main constructive unit of the process of creation, accumulation and distribution of wealth, play an important role in determining the trends for development of the social and economic relations and their continuous regulation. In this regard and especially taking into account the current economic disorders, a basic rule for financial survival and increasing the personal wealth is the households to possess a financial literacy, necessary for the effective management of their personal financial status. To achieve this goal, the knowledge and use of personal finance tools is necessary.
