Summary/Abstract: 'Ask librarians' is the first joint project of public libraries in Croatia. This article gives insight into the history and basic characteristics of the 'Ask librarians' service. It outlines the architecture of the service's web pages, displays general, demographic and evaluation statistics and discusses problems that librarians involved in the project face. The article also introduces plans for future development.
