Summary/Abstract: The Information and reference services as part of the Digital Library of the National and Univeristy Library in Zagreb are described. The theme is introduced by theoretical review of the development of reference services within user services in librarianship.The article gives an overview of research and evaluation of users’ satisfaction, which were conducted at the NUL, aiming at organization of information services on distance. It shortly outlines the possible outcomes of the service. The article deals more in detail about the content, organization and reporting provided by international service QuestionPoint- Ask Librarian.
