Summary/Abstract: The Differences in Aggregate Attitudes of Czechs and Slovaks towards the post-communist transformation: Reality or Methodical Artefact. The paper aims at two objectives. The first one is to inform about the present attitudes of Czech and Slovak population towards post-communist transformation of society as they were detected by the survey "Actors and Strategies of Social Transformation and Modernization". The second objective is to offer a more general representation of the public opinion differentiation in both republics. There were used two logically opposite techniques for summarizing partial opinions and attitudes. Consequently, the synthesis of both techniques was carried out to control the impact of used analytical techniques on the acquired results.
