Summary/Abstract: In post-conflict countries, the return of the displaced persons is one of the essential elements of the peace-building process. In the aftermath of a bloody war that came to an end with the Dayton Peace Accords, Bosnia has become the stage of a reconstruction process in which the international community has been playing an important role. In this process, the return of the displaced Bosnians is quite crucial. The aim of the present study is to examine the process of return in war-torn Bosnia, and the focus in that regard is the politics of return followed by the Bosnian state.
