Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to introduce Russian readers to the work of the modern Mexican writer Matilde Pons. Special attention is paid to the study of the literary style and the narrative structures of such novels as «Where love has a price», «Сlosed door», «The test». Besides, we analyze narrative means as verbalization of realistic exposition of real events.
