Summary/Abstract: The article consideres the essence of a concept «utopia» and its role in the process of society’s development. The authors analyze the problem of relations between a social utopia and feminism. The article deals with possibility of and need for construction of gender equality model in the contemporary society that has been worked in the frames of gender theory.
