Summary/Abstract: In the article the Turkic lexical elements of the Igor' Tale (Slovo o polku Igoreve) are examined. The author demonstrates the medieval origin of these elements and comes to the conclusion that the attempts of treating them as an argument in favour of the hypothesis of the creation of the Igor' Tale in the 18th century are groundless.
