Summary/Abstract: The hereinafter paper represents an analysis of jurisdictionally administrative institutions within the national administrative system, taking into consideration the range of competencies, limits of exercising powers and last but not least their organisation and functioning. The emergence of the present paper was dictated by the lack of a unitary viewpoint regarding the organisation and functioning principles and by the lack of features through which administrative jurisdictions should be characterized, fact that leads to frequent usage of the term in order to define authorities which do not meet the conditions for jurisdictions but only the conditions of mere controlling administrative bodies.
