Summary/Abstract: From the very notion of philosophy – that, as a ‘love for wisdom’ stands for never fulfilled tendency to reach the truth, and not the wisdom or truth themselves – emerges its necessary acceptance of cultural, theoretical and world-view pluralism, so that the philosophical dialogue between different orientations could approach never ended convergent search for the truth. Despite its etymological meaning, it would be hard to say that the history of philosophy represents such a dialogical readiness and tolerance towards different orientations of thoughts.
