Summary/Abstract: On the 13th of January 1945 the Red Army entered German territory in Eastern Prussia. This was the beginning of a military operation which lasted 103 days and resulted in the defeat of the German Wehrmacht in Prussia and Northern Poland, finally in the edn of World War II. This fight had been fought not only by weapons, but also using propaganda. There is a rumor about a pamphlet, where inter alia the reader found the calling: "Break by force the Racist Chauvinism of the German Women! Take them as your rightful Prey! Ilja Ehrenburg, the most successful Russian war correspondent is supposed to be the author of this pamphlet The Author of this essay tries not only to trace the history of this pamphlet and its colportage until nowadays, she also reviews Ehrenburg's reportages as war correspondent and the virulent foe images between Russians and Germans.
