Don Quixote and Communication Techniques

Summary/Abstract: Cervantes’s masterpiece has represented a permanent source of literary and philosophical reflectiones. This article starts from an ample investigation on Cervantes and the history of technique and points out the importance of a lecture of the Quixote sensitive to the dialogue between literature and science. Present and future technologies or the artistic expression of the Golden Age are found in Cervantes’ s text to cause a new reflection, to trigger a revision of what Cervantes’s world looked like, its intrahistorical and social reality, its limits and as well its achievements, until now unsuspected.
