Summary/Abstract: The following material has a double purpose: on the one hand, it briefly describes the events which allowed Polish theatre works to be known to Romanian audiences and, on the other, it presents the result of a writing exercise, conducted with students, alumni and collaborators of the Faculty of Theatre and Television from the Babeş-Bolyai University of Cluj. Based on a short questionnaire specially designed to allow participants to share their impressions on Tadeusz Kantor’s works, the purpose of this “experiment” was to see whether Tadeusz Kantor’s artistic work appeals to young audiences from Romania, a country in which the Polish artist’s legacy is still widely unknown.
