Professor Ryszard Łużny as a Researcher of the 19th-Century Russian Poetry

Summary/Abstract: This article discusses the works of the renowned Polish scholar Ryszard Łużny devoted to the 19th-century Russian poetry. These are predominantly his reflections on the works by A. Pushkin and F. Tiutchev. Having analysed the ideas expressed by Łużny, the author of this article concludes that they are still relevant and topical. They can be of much use to contemporary researchers and students of Russian studies, since they provide outstanding research models thanks to their epistemological and methodological solutions.
