Summary/Abstract: Particular parts of thesis concentrate on description and studying on wide range of relations coalesced Jadwiga Łuszczewska (Deotyma) and three representatives of literary epoch, which has chronologically preceded the activity of ‘warsavian prophetess’. The right subject of publication is fortifi ed with historical and social informations, which refers to rough political situation of years 1830–1863 and the phenomenon of literary salon. The depiction of varying emotions from deep friendship and fascination to spite and disregard is emerging from Wężyk, Koźmian, Odyniec and Deotyma’s letters, poems and memoirs.
