Interlingual Equivalence of Phrases Based on Somatic Expressions in Polish, French and Italian

Summary/Abstract: The article presents different aspects of equivalence and definitions of phrasal units. In this work, the author analyses interlingual equivalence of the concrete linguistic material (a series of sequences including names of human body parts in French, Italian and Polish). She discusses classification of potential equivalents in homologue categories, partial correspondents and idiomats.
