Summary/Abstract: Pavel Telicka was the EU chief-negotiator of the Czech Republic and now is the ambassador of his country in Bruxelles. He writes a valuable article about the 2002 Copenhagen Summit, an important event for his country as five years of negotiation regarding joining the UE have come to an end. The Czech experience would surely be useful for Romania too.
