Summary/Abstract: Already in May 1946 has come to a wave of protest rallies against the communist authorities in many Polish cities. This fact is not so well known as the anti-communist demonstrations in the years 1956, 1968, 1970, 1976 and 1980. Nevertheless they were the first demonstrations in communist Poland which have been pacified and kept secret for 60 years.
