Summary/Abstract: The need to express time in terms of space is limited, because it solidifies the process which involve all the time the movement. The present paper attempts reconciliation, through the idea of transition between psychic space and subjective time. Proust’s In search of Lost Time illustrates how time, converted into psychic space, gains depth and becomes an internal object, as maternal one. In return, the space converted into time turns into remembering and preservation of life. We outline a similarity between artistic creation and psychoanalysis, the central point being the poetic function of communication.
