Summary/Abstract: In this article, Adrian Cioroianu draws an analysis of the European Elections that took place in all the E.U. Countries, between the 4th and the 7th of June 2009. Two are the views framing his inquiry, namely an optimistic and respectively a pessimistic one. Starting from this premise, the elections are envisaged in multiple ways, eventually reaching major themes as the economic crisis, the accession process, the absenteeism and last but not least the Euro skepticism
