Public Resources Abuse in Electoral Campaign

Summary/Abstract: The abuse of public resources throughout the elections campaign is one of the main forms of political corruption, mainly affecting the equi-distance of the elections race. The article aims to explain what the abuse of public resources involves, as well as the phenomenon’s typology. At the same time, the article contains a series of events occurred during the November – December 2004 elections campaign, that could be categorized as administrative resources abuse, facts already emphasized upon at the time by the Romanian mass media.
