Summary/Abstract: The paper analyzes the realistic worlds recreated by Canadian writers of Asian descent and proves that, although Canada is a multicultural country representing itself as a utopia, discrimination and racism survive as a contemporary scourge. Moreover, the paper will relate in more detail to the historical situations depicted in the novel.
