Summary/Abstract: The profit as manifestation of the capital’s retribution will be always the main preoccupation of microeconomy. Having in mind the importance of the profit, not only from the firm’s point of view but of that of society in general, this paper would like to enumerate the characteristics respectively the main methods of profit maximization.
