PREOCCUPATIONS FOR INFORMATIONAL SYSTEMS ACHIEVEMENT FOR LOGISTICS UNITS IN THE ROMANIAN ARMY

Summary/Abstract: The need to finalize the logistics information system, in the Romanian Army, is based on the need to ensure ongoing communication independent of purpose, but based on the concept and need of the Commanders to watch adverse forces along with their own forces at the level of a single software platform. In this way, such an informational system would provide the knowledge of the decision makers constantly aware of the situation on the battlefield, in all its aspects, by collecting and updating information in real time based on reports about the location and status of all vehicles and personnel involved in military action while offering the possibility of all types of queries and mutual exchanges of messages and reports.
