Summary/Abstract: Stability Operations apply military power to influence the political and civil environment, to facilitate diplomacy, and to interrupt specified illegal activities. „Stabiliy Operations” are defined as „Military and Civilian activities conducted across the spectrum from peace to conflict to establish and maintain order in states and regions” . The recent strategic and operational successes of air and space power, in Libia-peace support operation, give rise once again to the belief that air power alone can achieve decisive results.
