Summary/Abstract: In Norway the State guarentees social security benefits for all inhabitants. Considering the "wave of seniors" in Norway a reform of the old-age pension is discussed. Moreover the social-insurance-system is organised very different (compared) to the German ((social-insurance-)system): uniform, state-organised and generous. There are no special systems, no neediness-tests, uniform administration, flat rates, no calculation borders, the state gives 30 percent from tax-money (in the social system) and they have a minimum-old-age pension and a supplement-pension. As well the tax system is clearly much more simple as the German and the tax rates are lower.
