International Study 'Fertility and Family'

Summary/Abstract: A brief descriptive review of a study sponsored by the Open Society Foundation is presented. 2900 Bulgarian women aged 18-45 years had been interviewed on 10 groups of questions related to household, parents' family, children, other pregnancies, fertility control, childbearing attitudes, education, employment, partner's characteristics, emigration and others. All results are suitable for international comparisons.
