Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with Osman Naimić Mostarac, a prominent 18th century calligrapher and transcriber of books, and one of the most productive transcribeers of oriental manuscripts in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The paper begins by setting out Mustafa Naimić’s biographical details, followed by a chronological list of all Mustafa Naimić’s known manuscripts, with a brief description of those housed in the Gazihusrev beg Library and the Archives of Herzegovina in Mostar. The paper concludes with two illustrations of Naimić’s calligraphic and transcription work.
