Summary/Abstract: This paper dwells on some semiologic aspects of the 1981 Peter Hall‘s ‘Agamemnon’ staging along with the Greek theatre conventions such as set design, chorus, masks etc. Also, the paper takes some issues on the traditional semiologic approach regarding definitions of sign-function or overcoding.
