Summary/Abstract: The article offers a very general perspective on the actual condition of Europe, from an anthropological perspective. The European continent is approached in itself and in relation to the other growing social-economic spaces of the world, in order to explain the reasons that positioned Europe in an essential place between 1650-1950.
