Summary/Abstract: The article describes the procedure of designing and analysing two methods for examining adolescents’ prosocial activity: Prosocial Behavior Questionnaire (PBQ) and Prosocial Tendencies Paraprojective Questionnaire (PKTP). Altogether 492 adolescents took part at this stage.. PBQ and PKTP examines similar but independent elements of prosocial tendencies among adolescents. PBQ measures frequency of different types of prosocial behavior: charitable behaviors, support behaviors and active prosocial behaviors. The paraprojective method, modeled on Karyłowski’s (1978) and Szuster-Zbrojewicz (1988) questionnaires, appear to measure the preferred level of personal prosocial activity. Both PBQ and PKTP have satisfying reliability and validity. The prognostic validity of both PBQ and PKTP was estimated in a quasi-experimental study.
