Summary/Abstract: In the last period of time, Web 2.0 applications bring a new spirit in the design and implementation of educational strategy in teaching activity and a new type of interaction between teacher and student. The incorporation of these technologies (blogs, microbloging, wikis, content syndication through RSS, social bookmarking, media sharing, conceptual maps, social networking sites and other social networking software) in the daily routine and how are those technologies managed were part of a study that was held over a period of three months on a sample of 160 teachers. This paper reveals the results of this comparative study - teachers who teach technical disciplines versus teachers who teach human disciplines - and also it reveals the impact of integrating these Web 2.0 applications in teaching activity.
