Summary/Abstract: Civil servants and other employees are bound to carry out their duties and perform their tasks whilst respecting fully the standards of personal, professional and ethical integrity as well as abide by the rules of proper conduct so as to preserve and enhance public trust in goverment authorities of the Dictrict of Brcko. However, if the servant should not act honourably, professionally and conscientiously meeting the highest standards and demands of his or her calling thus causing negative consequences to the administrative body the person in question shall be held accountable. Disciplinary action will be taken against the civil servant who has been deemed to have committed the actions and offended the Law on Civil Service Employees of the Brcko Government.The breach of one’s duty may be considered both heavy and light. In order to initiate a disciplinary proceedings against a civil servant, a detailed written explanation must be submitted whilst it is a disciplinary commission which deals with the proceedings. This paper aims to show the steps and actions of the disciplinary commission taken in cases of violation of rules by the civil servants as well as the measures imposed and carried out in alike cases.
