Summary/Abstract: This work presents some considerations from a research scientifique en sociology, we wanted to think about social relations, culture and education of the Portuguese-emigrants with Portugal and the most importantly question is the meaning of socio-educational construction of the memorials in honor of emigration, thus creating the myth of the heroes do "Salto". We study here, in particular, the monument Luso-Brazilian, to the Emigrant, built in Laundos, Portugal.
