Does the marital family model die out?

Summary/Abstract: On the basis of some sociological and statistical data the young people's attitudes towards and the notions of life in the marriage as well parallel family types are examined. An opinion is given that marital family continues to be the most preferred form of mutual life and raising children. In Bulgaria a real substitute for this is the incomplete family and there is a growing tendency within it to a model in which there is only one (lonely) parent, and usually that is the mother.
