Summary/Abstract: The article is presenting the “Railway affair”, a complex mechanism of large scope corruption affair related to political life of Serbia during the eighties of XIX century. The court influence exerted on judiciary had put out of action the investigation and the participants in this revealed corruption chain managed to hide the evidence due to their power and cleverness.
