Summary/Abstract: In the settlement of Turdaş-Luncă several features belonging to the La Tène period have been discovered. After studying the archaeological materials discovered on this site, we can say that they belong to two different horizons. Features 139 and 1060 can be dated to the 5th-4th centuries BC and belong to the early phase of the Dacian civilization, while the other features can be chronologically placed between the 1st century BC-1st century AD. However, a more exact dating is also possible duet o the fruit bowl found in feature 1001, which dates from the 1st century AD. Regarding the functionality of these features, we are of the opinion that these are pits with ritual depositions.
