CATEGORIES OF ALLAH ALMIGHTY'S ANNOUNCEMENT THROUGH THE MESSAGE

Summary/Abstract: Allah Almighty speaks of three ways of delivering and receiving the Message in 51st verse of the chapter: “No human being is given a chance to be addressed by Allah in more than one of the following three ways: inspiration, or behind curtain, or to be sent a messenger who, to His will, announces what He wishes. – He is really Supreme and Wise” (Korkut) We investigated many traditions, recorded in tafs􀀀r and had􀀀th literature, which speak about different ways of delivering and receiving the Message in various meanings, and putting them through the prism of categories mentioned in the quoted verse we came to the following conclusions: FIRST CATEGORY: BY INSPIRATION: First way: inspiration in general sense Second: inspiration in particular sense Third: truthful dream SECOND CATEGORY: OR BEHIND CURTAIN Fourth way: immediate speech of Allah Almighty Fifth: speech of Allah Almighty in his, p.b.u.h., dream Sixth: direct speech of Allah Almighty THIRD CATEGORY: OR TO BE SENT A MESSENGER WHO, TO HIS WISH, ANNOUNCES WHAT HE WISHES Seventh way: appearance of angels like ringing of a bell Eight: appearance of angels in human shape Ninth: seeing an angel in his natural shape As this theme has not been systematized in our language so far, we hope that this paper will cast more light on the issue of meeting between Eternal and Temporary.
